this neighborhood

The village of Bond Hill was established in 1886 as a response to increased downtown accessibility by rail and streetcars. The village was annexed by the city in 1903. Serviced by the Queen City Metro, with I-75 to the west and I-71 to the southeast, Bond Hill remains one of Cincinnati's most accessible neighborhoods, located just minutes from the businesses, shops and culture of downtown.

Achieving its fastest growth in the post-war boom economy of the 1920s, Bond Hill today is a thriving neighborhood with a growing population and active commercial center along Reading Road. Two-family homes and multi-family units are common to the neighborhood's housing landscape, with Queen Anne, Tudor and Victorian styles denoting more historic streets. Extended families, friendly neighbors, packed churches and students walking to neighborhood schools create the feel of a welcoming, close-knit community.

The neighborhood of Bond Hill covers almost two square miles and has more than 10,000 residents. Bond Hill is family-friendly; children, parents, grandparents and extended family members of all ages living, working, playing and growing together as a community.
