What it lacks in square mileage, East Walnut Hills makes up for in character and charm. A small neighborhood just off of I-71, East Walnut Hills is known throughout the city for its historic mansions and multi-acre plots of land.

Backyard swing sets and big oak trees frame scenic views of the Ohio River. Joggers, walkers and roller bladers from neighboring Hyde Park frequently cut through East Walnut Hills on their way to Eden Park. Though many families and empty nesters live in East Walnut Hills, there are also many singles who occupy carriage houses, third floors of renovated mansions and multi-family homes.

Antique shops, art galleries, a vintage wine cellar and a fine pastry shop are all located in the O'Bryonville shopping district that borders East Walnut Hills. The University of Cincinnati campus, downtown and Kenwood Towne Centre shopping are all only 10 minutes away.

East Walnut Hills is a densely populated neighborhood of a half-square mile, with almost 4,000 residents
