this neighborhood

This small neighborhood was a popular suburb in the late 19th century, complete with its own hotel, the Linwood House.

Located east of downtown near the Little Miami River, Linwood is home to Lunken Airport and its surrounding golf course, park, and tennis courts. Lunken has a 5.5 mile paved trail, two playgrounds, four lighted tennis courts, a miniature golf course, an outdoor fitness area, baseball fields and picnic shelter areas regularly utilized by Linwood residents

Linwood has many older, affordable homes. Situated along Columbia Parkway, Linwood is only 15 minutes from downtown.

For a journey into Cincinnati's beginnings, the Pioneer Cemetery near Lunken Airport is the burial site for some of the city's earliest pioneers, who were first to land in the area.

Linwood covers almost three square miles with only 1,200 residents.
