Just west of downtown is Price Hill, one of the first hillside communities settled as the city's wealthy citizens fled the industrial downtown basin into the hillside suburbs. On its east hillside and adjacent to downtown rests Lower Price Hill, a bustling manufacturing district in the mid-1800s. Today, Lower Price Hill is a neighborhood of brownstones and duplexes, home to 1,600 Cincinnatians.

Like its eastern counterpart, Mt. Adams, this community offers several parks and a convenient location.
