this neighborhood

Mt. Airy was a small community of farms and country homes until the post-World War II boom in suburban living. Large tracts of green fields and thick woodlands were purchased by developers with an eye for opportunities, and by the City of Cincinnati in an effort to preserve open space. While the neighborhood continues to grow with new housing, Cincinnati's largest park, Mt. Airy Forest, provides almost 1,500 acres for sports, relaxation, reflection, exercise and general enjoyment.

With easy access to the shopping, restaurants, stadiums and cultural venues of downtown and the nature trail and picnic areas of Mt. Airy Forest, Mt. Airy truly offers the perfect blend of urban convenience and suburban living.

9,500 residents of Cincinnati call the three square miles of the Mt. Airy neighborhood home. Families and couples of every age and income live in this community, attracted by an easy commute to the central business district and a tranquil, attractive environment.
