Lookout's homes and condominiums attractive and the neighborhood friendly. Alms Park is located in Mt. Lookout, and the area is close to Lunken Park, Ault Park and downtown.

Mt. Lookout also has the privilege of being home to the nation's oldest fully operational observatory founded in 1842. Mt. Lookout Observatory, operated by the University of Cincinnati physics department, remains a hidden treasure-only 3,000 visitors tour the facility each year.
