Paddock Hills is no place for a non-competitive spirit. After-school kickball games led by neighborhood kids have been known to draw moms, dads and even grandparents outdoors and into the community's cul-de-sacs. After the kickball games subside, bike riders, dog walkers and evening exercisers take over the tree-lined streets.

It's not uncommon to learn that young adults who spent their childhood years in Paddock Hills have purchased a house on the very same street where they scraped their knees decades before. Singles, families, young and old all enjoy the quiet comfort and peaceful serenity offered by the Avon Woods Nature Center, where neighborhood meetings and social gatherings are frequently held.

Over a dozen homes enjoy the view from back yards that overlook the Avon Fields Golf Course. In the winter, that very same course becomes a wonderland for sled riders, cross country skiers and little tykes who make angels in the snow. Paddock Hills is a year-round playground for all its residents, who take great pride in their close-knit community.
